FLOATING WRITTEN-CUM-INTERVIEW TEST in ITRC

Eligible and interested candidates may attend the Written-Cum-Interview test for empanelment for purely temporary engagement as Project Assistant Level-II on contract basis with the stipend of Rs.12000/-(fixed) per month in the supra-institutional/network projects tenable at Indian Institute of Toxicology Research, Lucknow main and Gheru campus. Qualifications under broad areas are detailed as under:

Qualification
Bio. Sciences (12 positions)

1st Class (60% marks) M.Sc. in Biotechnology/Biochemistry/ Microbiology/Zoology/ Life Science

Chemical Science (3 positions)

1st Class (60%marks) M.Sc. in Analytical Chemistry/Inorganic Chemistry/Chemistry/ Environment Science

Desirable Qualifications: Practical experience in the relevant field (as above) as evident by publications/thesis.

Terms & Conditions:

The upper age limit is 28 years as on date of Written/Interview Test which is relaxable up to 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes and 3 years for OBC candidates. The tenure of positions will be up to March 2012 or co-terminus with the supra institutional/network projects against which the stipend is offered to the candidate and are non -transferable to another Project.
Interested candidates must register through On-line (details available at www.iitrindia.org/emp.html) up to 5.00 p.m. of February 19, 2008. Only registered candidates with proof of On-line Acknowledgement Slip will be eligible to appear in the written examination which shall be held at this Institute on the date and time as mentioned above. The written test in the two broad areas will be held to short list candidates for interview on the same day. The candidates are required to bring their original and a set of attested copies of mark sheets/certificates and supportive documents along with two passport size photographs and a writing board. Written test in the subject area will be held, to shortlist candidates for interview on same day. The selected candidates will be posted either in Main Campus or Gheru Campus of the Institute.
