First class Postgraduate in Bioinformatics with 7 years experience.OR First class Postgraduate in life sciences/ Chemistry / Physics/Biotechnology with advanced diploma in Bioinformatics with 7 years experience.ORPh. D with 4 years relevant experience.

Age:
Below 37 years as on the last date of advertisement.

Skill Set :
In-depth knowledge of Bioinformatics domain with specialization in Genome sequence analysis, molecular modelling and Micro Array Data Analysis with a good knowledge of algorithms and statistical methods. Should be proficient in programming with C, Fortran, Java, Perl/Python etc. on the UNIX Platform

In case of Deputation/applicants from government or allied institution (Including CDAC's internal applicants) the applicant must have served for at least 5 years in immediately lower pay scale.

AGE:Applicants belonging to the reserved category / Govt. employees/physically challenged category would be eligible for relaxations according to the Government of India's norms.
RESERVATIONS : All positions in grade / pay scale/consolidated basis are on fixed duration and against approved projects. Out of above 8 positions 1 are reserved for SC, 1 is reserved for ST and 2 are reserved for OBC. Physically handicapped, meritorious sports persons and ex-servicemen eligible for reservation shall also be considered according to the Government of India regulations.
