Project Assistant Level-II & Project Assistant Level-I in ITRC,Lucknow

Applications from Eligible candidates are invited for temporary positions of Project Assistant
Level II, & Level I with the stipend of Rs.8000/- & Rs. 5000/- p.m. respectively for the sponsored
projects tenable at ITRC. Interested candidates are requested to attend the floating interview along
with their original documents as on 26-12-2007 at 11.00 A.M.


Project Assistant Level-II (2post)
Qualification : 1stclass M.Sc. in Biotechnology/ Microbiology /Environmental
Science/Botany/Chemistry with knowledge of computer application/MS–Word, MS-Excel, MSPower
Point etc.
Job Requirement:- Characterization of toxic chemicals from pulp paper mill effluent which
inhibits the bacterial degradation of lignin and pentachlorophenol for environmental safety of effluent
and support of experimental, routine lab work, cleaning of glasswares.


Project Assistant Level - I (1 post)
Qualification: Ist class B.Sc. with minimum 60% marks in ZBC/PCM With
knowledge of Computer application/programming.

Interview.





TERMS & CONDITIONS:
1. Age not exceeding 28 years as on the date of walk-in-interview for Project
Assistant Level-1,II,III and 30 Years in case Project Assistant Level-IV. Age
relaxable upt o 5 years in case of candidates belonging to SC/St and 3 years
OBC categories.
2. The positions are purely temporary on contract basis and co-terminus with the
sponsored projects. Based on the performance of the candidates in the
Interview, a panel of recommended candidates will be formed which shall be
utilized as and when the requirement arises in the respective field/area in the
sponsored project. Further, the above stipends are tentative and the same
will be finally decided based in the emoluments in the sponsored project.
3. Applicant applied to Project Assistant will not allowed to register for Ph.D.
4. The application form will be provided at the Venue on the interview date,
however candidates may download from website http://www.itrcindia.org/. The
candidates should apply in the prescribed application format duly filled in
along with attested copies of mark sheet, certificate and testimonials and a
recent passport size photograph.
5. Tentative marks sheets/certificates and results awaited will not be considered.
6. Candidates who strictly fulfill the eligibility/experience and possess the
degree/mark sheet in the aforesaid subjects only should apply for the
positions. Mere fulfilling minimum qualification will not entail any right for
consideration.
7. NO TA/DA will be paid for attending the Interview.
8. Canvassing in any form and/or bringing in any influence political or otherwise
will be treated as disqualification for the position.
9. The date of interview are given on the top of specific broad area.
10. Candidates have the option to interact with committee in Hindi.
